Independent retailer Coggles was launched in York in 1974 by Victoria Bage. The store, named after her ex husbands mistress Sarah Coggles, quickly established itself nationally as a place to buy great design, which went beyond fashion. 2006 saw the launch of the stores website opening Coggles up to a community of creative and discerning customers around the world.
